The Anti-Defamation League & the Alabama Holocaust Commission present:
Echoes and Reflections - A Multimedia Curriculum on the Holocaust

This comprehensive curriculum designed for middle and high school teachers delivers the pedagogical expertise of the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), USC Shoah Foundation Institute, and Yad Vashem.

Rich with visual history testimony integrated into 10 multi-part lessons, this education resource offers curriculum connections to contemporary issues of diversity, prejudice and bigotry, and modern-day genocide. It includes maps, photos, timeline, glossary and primary resources.

Workshop

  • Appropriate for middle and high school (grades 6-12) as well as pre-service teachers.
  • Multimedia Curriculum with DVD will be supplied FREE.
  • Facilitators from the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) will guide participants through a 6-hour training. Participants are requested to be present for the entire workshop and complete an evaluation in order to receive the curriculum notebooks and teaching resources (value $100).
  • Certificates for six (6) hours of CEU credit will be provided upon completion of the Workshop.
  • Funding is available to reimburse your school for substitute teachers. Forms will be provided. Reimbursement will be up to $70 per teacher.
  • Snacks and lunch will be provided.
